poetry & short story author – artist & nature lover
Sign of the times… at least neither of them had matches or a can of spray paint.
But seriously, I love watching the wildlife. Whether it’s napping or eating or kicking up their heels or boxing. Who needs tv when you have real life?!

They are very playful. Love bunnies. There is no way I live anywhere else if I grew up there.

In my twenties and very early thirties I moved around a bit and lived in Washington and Idaho but I guess being Alaskan-born, it’s in me too be here.

It’s wonderful that you were able to return to your roots. I was raised in the city but I spent summer and winter school holidays in my grandparents farm where I feel more home than anywhere else.

It’s definitely a choice. I used to live in the city and made a lot of money and had a lot of Things. But it never made me happy. I have found living a simple life, with very little, had made me much more content and happy than ever.

I guess we have to experienced the both environment to come to realisation. I am trying to simplify life and I must admit it takes decipline to keep it that way.

Yes, it’s relearning, training the mind that “going without” is not really going without. It is freedom. Keep at it Cassa! I’m rooting for you.

I happen to like bunnies a lot. I prefer the lops because I think they’re really cute, but these are cute too.

I had one that had two floppy ears but I gave her away. I just like bunnies haha. 😍🥰

Definitely true that with abundant wildlife and natural beauty all around us we really do not need to watch TV. A lovely post 😊

I don’t miss tv at all. I got rid of it in 1999 and haven’t looked back since. I have far too many things to observe and create and do than watch it. These bunnies being one… I love it.

I too haven’t watched a TV programme since the 90s, owing, like you, to so much else to devote my time to that is far more worthwhile ❤

A hare-raising battle.
Har har. But seriously, aren’t you tempted to clap your hands and say something like ‘hey, cut it out!’

Hilarious. Clap. Clap. Clap.
🤣🤣
No, I typically don’t mess with the affairs of bunnies unless it’s an ermine attacking a baby bunny or there’s one rabbit that is really mean to all the others and I don’t let it get away with it, if I’m outside and see it.
Mostly, I just watch all their antics. It’s really quite entertaining. It just happened I was photographing ANOTHER rabbit (which was behind me from where I was standing for the video) and heard these two tussling and so was able to actual record it.
