Blooms of Green

Love’s green leaves unfurled in my heart
The moment you spoke my name
New life, a new creation
Seeds unwatered but waiting patiently
Your hand in mine, I lifted my face
Your smile, a bright orange glow in my sky
A kiss on my cheek, roots spreading
Your heartbeat beneath my palm
And love bloomed afresh

  1. Such magical words. I feel so much of passion in those words. Lovely absolutely lovely. Honest and effortlessly beautiful. I have come to actually adoring you poetry. Please keep writing. Peace and greetings from Sui generis 💛💛

    1. Thank you! This one was different in that I read a prompt over on Instagram, which I generally don’t do prompt writing, but I was inspired and wrote it in a minute. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m glad you enjoyed it.
