Down by the Lake

I slipped my sandals off
and dipped my toes
into the dark moody waters
of you

the smell of earth and old-growth
filled my nostrils
the coolness of your touch
only managed to raise my temperature
your depths covered my feet
and beckoned me deeper

I slid forward
the sun warming my hair and my face
I let my fingers gently caress your surface
before slipping under where few had gone

stepping forward your body
surrounding me
covering more and more of me

I gasped and shivered
when your wetness touched my breasts
so laying back
I released myself fully
into your silky embrace
then you lifted up
and covered my mouth softly

I may just be drowning in you
and somehow that too is okay
