Space Between

Here I am.
Once again
About this space
You and…… I
What went wrong
Where we went right
Will we ever bridge this
G…. a……. p
I wanted Us
So hard
So much
So big
You wanted….
Now, tears
Now, aching sighs
Now…. alone
I miss you.
And I’m lying here
About space and time…
And where I fit.

  1. The pain of not fitting
is hard for us to bear
    we wonder if our life
    deals cards being fair.

    The pain of being alone
    when one people decide
& the other has to accept
is also too difficult to bear
    can feel inside our heart
    like becoming wrecked.

    Please, don’t just weep
    cause towards happiness
this can be a small step
or it can be a big leap.

  2. Ahhh…the ever fickle yearning for “fit”. This is a great piece, thanks for writing + sharing. I cannot help but think that I sometimes take a mechanical approach to “fit” despite its very organic nature. Maybe what I am searching for is flow…I digress. Look, you got me thinking! Thanks as always!!
