Offensive

This arrow has always bothered me. Always. I am offended by its inclusion. (OCD issues)

Also, please tell me I’m not the only one bothered by this.

Please?

Anyone???

        1. The symbol is a triangle, like the monuments of its true creators, the Dynastic Egyptians. The most original form of recycling was apparently just being yourself in the afterlife, which seems dull. To this day, the ♻️ symbol can be found at Karnak.

      1. Considering how my mind works and needs order and regularity it has now angered me and I never noticed it before. Can we create a petition to alter it? That way no one else will have to suffer the pain we all feel each time we look at it. It will also wipe the smile off the smug little arrow face too when it realises it’s been wrong all this time

        1. There’s a time and a place for it, Jim! When it comes to symbols and mathematics, order is necessary. This is not an artistic display or reflection or philosophical belief. It is a sign depicting a statement of fact and therefore belongs in the category of order.

        2. There may be a medication for that. I love it! Haha. I built a house last year and posted pictures here. It’s a beautiful house, but one of the readers mentioned a light in the photo was off centered. He mentioned it again yesterday (a year later) and asked if I’d centered the light. Things that are odd can really make an impact on certain people. Yes, I said! “I centered the light Mr Pink, now go get some sleep! Haha.

        3. I knew it was off when I put in the rough-in. But it adds character. Especially since it was supposed to be a new/older home (rustic). My daughter loved it, her husband…not so much. He was on your side. He won. That’s the funny part. Centered doesn’t bother me either. We have to be so darn accommodating

        4. Off-center is not translation for “rustic” lol
I have a big problem with things that aren’t correct. I also have OCD. Sometimes it’s a bear to live with. 🤷🏼‍♀️

        1. Two of the arrows go under-over, that one goes over-under. Because it chases itself, there can be no pattern to it. It’s like one square wheel and three rounds. There can be no pattern, repeating, or order.

  1. I’ve never really thought about it… hmmm… but now that I do… I do feel the teeniest tiniest sense of outrage. Maybe its solidarity with you. Lets go with that 🙂
