Ravings Of A Would Be Poet
I love you and now
I have to let you go
goddamn it this fucking hurts
I want to dig my heart out
with a fucking spoon and
wrap it in brown paper and
bury it deep in the dark earth and
pour a pound of salt
in the gaping hole it left behind
and hope that
now I won’t feel anything anymore
damn it!
fucking shit
I want throw this fucking phone
across the goddamned room and
I can barely see
through these fucking tears and how?
how did I let myself
fall in love with you?
like playing with fire
I knew I’d get
burned
roasted
cremated
but still I held on to you
because you
are the best fucking thing
that’s ever happened to me
somebody please
put me out of my damn misery
god I’m fucking pathetic
but hey, don’t mind me…
these are just the fucking ravings
