thoughts of you
constantly flow
through my mind
I gaze, sighing, out
the window of time-past
memories
of your bare skin, trembling
beneath my fingertips
of your smile, enticing
resting upon me
of your eyes, lingering
hungry and kind yet predatory
of your arms, alluring
strong and wrapped around me
tears of loneliness
constantly flow
from my eyes
my body aches to remember your touch
my chest bears a carved out hole
my lungs labor for your oxygen
my eyes rove the horizon for your return
love for you
constantly flows
in my heart

The vulnerability is definitely bared, like the shedding of clothing. I like the lines; ‘tears of loneliness constantly flow from my eyes’. I feel the sadness and desperate yearning for something. Beautiful.

Thank you Mark. There is a beauty in sadness and desperation, I think.
